Children's Miracle Network Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports

The PGA Tour tees up for a good cause, returning to Disney's Palm and Magnolia Golf Courses for the long-running Children's Miracle Network Classic. The tournament is part of Disney's Wide World of Sports, and will be held at the Orlando-based resort.

Only one of three PGA tour events pairing amateurs and professionals for the first 36 tournament holes, the Classic includes a pairings party, gift package and tickets to Disney's theme park.

Volunteers play a vital role, and should bring not only expertise but enthusiasm. Their help and attitude impacts the success of the Classic, whether they're keeping score or encouraging spectators keep noise levels to a minimum.

Spectators can make a difference for hospitalized children, as proceeds from the general admission tickets benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and Shands Children's Hospital at University of Florida. These two facilities are the Children's Miracle Network hospitals for the Central Florida region.
