Celebrate America at Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, FL

Cypress Gardens, a theme park just outside of Orlando in Winter Haven, Florida, makes every day Independence Day in the summer with its Celebrate America festivities. Throughout the summer, the park puts on a variety of special performances and events that celebrate America and what it stands for. The daily Celebration Parade features stilt-walkers, dancers in patriotic outfits, and a 20-foot-tall Uncle Sam puppet. Throughout the day, the musical revue "Crazy for the Red White and Blue" plays at one of the park's theaters and features all your favorite patriotic tunes.

Around the park, "Great Moments in American History" displays celebrate famous happenings in American music, sports, entertainment and technology, while flags from all 50 states are also displayed around the park. America's veterans and troops are honored at the Memorial Wall and Freedom Wall, which stand as tributes to the soldiers who have fought for America and the brave men and women who lost their lives defending their country. On weekend evenings, a spectacular firework show is held to the sound of well-known patriotic songs. There is an admission fee to the park.
