Three Essential Waterparks in Orlando
Explore the Enchanted Cinderella Castle
You've heard the story of Cinderella, her Prince, and her fairy godmother ... now see the splendor of her story come to life at Cinderella Castle. Your entire family will delight at finally seeing this enchanting symbol of magic, fantasy and imagination in person at Disney's Magic Kingdom® Park! Blizzard Beach, located in Walt Disney World, has a unique winter theme. The park has many different slides, including the Summit Plummit, which is the world's tallest and fastest free-fall body slide. The slide is 120 feet high, 360 feet long, and will send you soaring down Mount Gushmore at 55 miles per hour! For family activities, Blizzard Beach has Teamboat Springs. This ride is 1,200 feet long, making it one of the longest family raft rides in the world. For a little down time between the thrills and excitement of the rides, take a break on Cross Country Creek, where you'll be able to get some sun as float downstream, reclining in an inner tube. Blizzard Beach also has a special section of the park, Tike's Peak, just for little ones. Also located in Walt Disney World, Typhoon Lagoon offers fun water slides and engaging water activities. Water slides include group raft rides and individual slides, all of varying speeds and heights. Like Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon also has a park set aside especially for small children with mild rides and shallow waters. The park also has one of the world's largest wavepools, set by the park's famous Sandy White Beach, which imitates a real tropical beach. In addition to the usual waterpark attractions, though, Typhoon Lagoon offers other alternatives to water recreation for an altogether different waterpark experience. The park's well-known Shark Reef allows guests to swim in a tank among sharks and tropical fish. Typhoon Lagoon also offers surfing lessons for anyone ranging from novice to pro. Voted as America's number one waterpark by Amusement Business magazine, Wet 'n' Wild will provide the whole family with non-stop fun. The park offers different kinds of rides that will satisfy the whole family. Thrill rides include The Bomb Bay, a nearly vertical 76 foot slide, the Blue Niagara, which has 300 feet of intertwinined looping tubes, and the Hydra Fighter, where guests can control how high and fast their ride goes with water pressure. Wet 'n' Wild also offers fun multi-person rides such as the Disco H2O, The Black Hole, and The Surge. The kids' section of Wet 'n' Wild offers miniature versions of the park's popular adult attractions. Wet 'n' Wild also offers a lazy river and wave pool and volleyball nets for fun outside of slides and rides. |

I'm from the Illinois area. This was one of the best water parks I have ever been to. It is the best for the whole family !!!!!!! The kids area is the best. Everything they have for adults they have for kids plus more. It is very clean and I think the kids part is more fun than the adults. I would drive to Florida just for the water park You have to go at least 2 days its so much fun!!! I had 4 children with me 18, 16, 11, and 5 we all had a blast!!!
