Orlando Area Hotels If you'll be visiting any activities in Orlando during your Disney World vacation you may want to think about booking a hotel in the Orlando area. Though you won't have the convenience of being just a short bus ride from any of the Disney World parks, you will find that a number of hotels do offer shuttle transportation to Disney World. And with Disney property located roughly a half-hour away from Orlando, having to drive yourself through an unfamiliar terrain or pay an exorbitant cab fee every time you visit the city may be more of a hassle than it is worth. Another consideration to take in is the type of environment you're looking for. With the nature of Disney World being what it is you're nearly guaranteed to hear the pitter-patter of small feet and big voices at the crack of each morning at a Disney World Resort. And while there's sure to be a certain level of noise at any hotel, chances are there won't be nearly as many energetic children rushing past your doorway at consistent intervals at the typical Orlando area hotel. Disney World Resorts Though there are a number of good reasons to choose to stay at a Disney World Resort, the most obvious reason is to fully embrace yourself in the magic of Disney. Each resort features a unique theme, and can simply produce a certain surrealness to your visit. Aside from the fantastical notions conjured by staying at a Disney World Resort, you'll also have the benefit of simply waking up, making your way to your lodging's bus stop and be just a short bus ride from any park in Disney World. Conclusion In then end, unless you have your heart set on staying at a certain location, it is best to look at what you'll be doing for the majority of your vacation. If you're taking a week long vacation that will feature Disney World every day, then you may want to think of staying at a Disney World Resort. However, if you'll be exploring all of Orlando and will only be visiting Disney World for a day or two, then you may find it more convenient to stay near the actual Orlando area. Either way, you're sure to find warm weather and a nearly limitless supply of fun awaiting whether you should choose to set up base at Disney World or in Orlando. |
