Sky-High Vacation Thrills Await on The Kissimmee Skycoaster near Orlando, FL

What's that off in the distance? Only the tallest thrill ride you'll find in the state of Florida or anywhere in the world!

The Kissimmee Skycoaster is a site in and of itself. Straddling a man-made pond surrounded by a soft green meadow, the Skycoaster rises up 300 feet into the air (which is some 30 stories high)! Unlike bungee jumping where there's a vertical drop, the Skycoaster is an "acrobatic swoop" through a radial flight path.

Your journey begins as you and/or one or two other "daredevils" are fitted into the Skycoaster's special "flight suits." You step into a maze of fabric loops and black straps until your find yourself as snug as a bug in a rug! Next, you are taken on a small lift that carries you to where the cable will be attached. With the cables attached, you find yourself hoisted up so that you are suspended ' and lying horizontal.

The heavy duty cables carry you to the top of the launch tower. For this part of the ride, you will be able to see for miles around you as you climb higher and higher into the air. In fact, a view of the entire Orlando/Kissimmee area is visible.

Once you reach the launch tower, you listen for the command to "fly," pull the rip cord, and that's where the fun beings. You swoop down towards earth, reaching speeds of up to 76 miles per hour. During your journey, you'll soar back and forth to experience the sensation of flying. (Feel free to put your arms out and enjoy the moment to the fullest extent.)

Your swinging begins to slow down and when your time is up, an outstretched arm from earth (in the form of a pole) is put into your grasp, and you shortly find yourself back on solid ground.
