Amenities and Features of Orlando International Airport

  • In addition to being a hub for domestic and international travel, Orlando International Airport covers 23 square miles and also features 44 shops and services, 20 restaurants, six bars, a microbrewery and a hotel. On-site theme park retail stores include The Magic of Disney, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Disney's Flight Fantastic.
  • Located nine miles southeast of downtown Orlando, the airport boasts an exceptionally modern design, including an enclosed and elevated passenger shuttle system that links each gate to the three-level main terminal and offers an outstanding view of Orlando's beauty.
  • The terminal offers ease of navigation, and the 443-room Hyatt Regency Hotel sits atop the main terminal. The hotel's atrium is eight stories tall, and elegant greenery and palm trees make visitors feel like they're in the middle of a park instead of an airport.
  • Terminal maps, details about airport features and up-to-the-minute flight tracking information are available via Orlando International Airport's Web site.
  • There is easy access to a wide selection of major rental car companies, several on Level 1 of the main terminal building and the rest via courtesy shuttle. Providers include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, L&M and National.

Parking and Transportation from Orlando International Airport

  • Both terminal and satellite parking are available. Terminal parking is located within walking distance of the main terminal, and satellite parking offers reduced rates with a location ideal for passengers taking extended trips. Free shuttle transportation runs between the satellite parking and the main terminal.
  • Passengers can catch a taxi, bus or shuttle van when they land on the ground. Taxi service is provided by Ace Metro/Luxury Cab, Diamond Cab Company, Star Taxi, Town & Country Transportation, and Yellow/City Cab. Shuttle vans are run by Mears and Tran Star. Out-of-town shuttles are provided by Able Transportation, B & K Transportation, Busy Traveler, Cocoa Beach Shuttle, CWS Tours & Shuttle, DOTS, Daytona Shuttle Service, Family One Transportation, Lake Limo, Lake County Shuttle, Murray Hill Transportation, O.C. Boston, Polk Airport Transit and Saul's Airport Services. Lynx buses depart every 30 minutes to downtown Orlando and International Drive.
