Silver Springs: Nature's Theme Park - Ocala, FL Wonderful?.our family visits once a year when we go to florida?.tarzan and the creature from the black lagoon?..who could ask for more! -sandy, katy texas Silver Springs: Nature's Theme Park - Ocala, FL We went to Silver Springs while we were in Florida two years ago, and absolutely loved every minute we spent there. It was December, and the colourful lights were really beautiful. I especially loved the glass-bottomed boats. It was amazing to be able to see so deep down in the crystal clear water. We will be back in Florida this December, and we are planning to go back to Silver Springs. No lines , the food is very reasonable. We were so surprised at how clean it is and how nice the people who operate all the entertainment treated us. We are getting a season pass since we live in Bradenton, Fl. a few hours away. Better than Bush Gardens or Lowery Park zoo. We were there on October 4th 2006.
