ABC Supersoap Weekend at Walt Disney World Resort Overview

Are you the person rushing home from errands every day so you don't miss your favorite soap? Or one of the people huddled around the TV in the break room at work so you don't have to wait till you get home to see what happened in the plot-twist? If soap operas are a huge part of your life, you will not want to be anywhere but Florida on November 13th and 14th! Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida holds the ABC Super Soap Weekend every year, and this year promises to be the best one yet! This is your chance of a lifetime to meet your favorite soap star, interact with them, and watch them speak and perform live. More than 30 stars from All My Children, One Life to Live, General Hospital and others will be on-location.

Headlined by Susan Lucci, this event will be fun, exciting and fascinating. There will be several ways you can get up-close and personal with the stars you can't go a day without watching. First, check out Soap Central, the place to be for all fans. Here you can find one-of-a-kind soap merchandise, costumes worn by stars during actual filming, and purchase props from the sets of your favorite show. Then, make your way to the ABC-TV Theater for the Super Soap Talk show. Throughout the day, soap stars will appear live, talk about their experiences and give sneak-peaks at future episodes. You may even have the chance to ask your favorite actor that question you've always wondered about!

In addition, motorcades will travel up Hollywood Boulevard to the Sorcerer's Hat all day long. This will be followed by a chat with the stars live on stage. And don't miss the chance to meet stars and get their autographs at special locations set up throughout the park each day!

To add to the fun, Cameron Mathison from All My Children will host a Casting Call event, where you can compete for your chance to break into show business! This was a new event last year, back by popular demand! There will also be a "Who Wants to be a Millionaire -- Soap Edition" game, where contestants will play for prizes and get the chance to share the hot seat with an ABC daytime celebrity. You can also end each day in a rockin' way: The Colgate Total^' Street Jam, which follows the Grand Motorcade each night, is a huge music event...and another place to see your favorite stars!

Entrance to the Super Soap Weekend is included with your theme park admission to the Disney-MGM Studios. What better place to have such a star-studded event?
