Downtown Disney Review

We visited Downtown Disney nearly every day during our trip to Disney World, and found something new to take part in with each visit. The area is separated into three distinct sections: Marketplace, Pleasure Island and West Side. Throughout each area we found a wealth of dining, shopping and entertainment; with the Marketplace focusing on dining and shopping, Pleasure Island catering to the nightlife and the Westside featuring entertainment options such as Cirque du Soleil, Disney Quest and an AMC theater.
The Marketplace seemed to be the liveliest in the day, as guests were grabbing a bite to eat and bustling from shop to shop. Throughout the Marketplace there were numerous sights to catch the eye, ranging form immaculate LEGO statues to the various character statues situated throughout the various shops. The other two areas of Downtown Disney also feature a few select shops, but the Marketplace is where you'd go to find a large selection of Disney-specific merchandise.

Downtown Disney features the best of Orlando's shopping, dining, and entertainment all in one pedestrian-friendly location along the shores of a picturesque lake. Home to popular destinations such as Planet Hollywood, Cirque du Soleil, a sprawling Virgin MegaStore, and more, Downtown Disney featured plenty of fun and entertainment for everyone. Just across from the Cirque du Soleil theater is DisneyQuest Interactive Indoor Theme Park, while the middle of the Downtown Disney area is comprised of several popular dining and nightlife venues.
