Dixie Stampede Orlando - A Little Taste of the West in the South

Dixie Stampede - Orlando Overview

Taking a dream and making it a reality is just what Dolly Parton did when she created her chain of entertainment restaurants known as "Dixie Stampede."   Relive the family fun that Dolly remembers so fondly from her childhood.  With a combination of competition and cooking, it's easy to see why this attraction is great for the whole family.

Your ticket includes admission to the show, pre-entertainment (non-alcoholic) in the Carriage Room prior to the show, and a fantastic 4-course feast!  If you want arrive early, the Dixie Stampede staff will be pleased to guide you to the outside arena where you can view the shows stars (the horses, of course) as they prepare for their performance.

The show itself includes a dazzling combination of live animals, dramatic lighting, sound, and fireworks.  Set in a 35,000 square foot arena, it features more than 30 horses, riders, singers, dancers, and even has a few pigs and ostriches!  The show revolves around a "friendly" North/South competition, and brings the audience into the rivalry taking place!

And if the show wasn't enough, there's a 4-course feast that will fill even the hungriest of appetites.  Cooking gets underway in the early morning as chickens are put onto the rotisserie, and boneless pork loin are hickory smoked over fresh cut logs.  Then, your delectable feast is served to you as you watch the show by dozens of costumed servers (who are very generous with the portions they dish out).

Your menu includes the following mouth-watering specialties:

  • Tender Whole Rotisserie Chicken
  • Hickory Smoked Barbecued Pork Loin
  • Creamy Vegetable Soup (an original)
  • Homemade Biscuits
  • Hot Buttered Corn on the Cob
  • Herb-based Potato
  • Dixie's Specialty Dessert
  • Unlimited Soft Drinks, Tea, and/or Coffee

Some other important details you may like to know:

  • Children under 3 are free if they sit in a parent's lap and eat from mom or dad's plate.
  • Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
  • The facility is fully handicap accessible, and can accommodate visitors in wheelchairs, those that are hearing impaired, or with any other special need.
  • Groups of 20 or more can easily be accommodated.

Dixie Stampede "rounds 'em up" with 2 shows daily.   So, why not come on over, chow down, and have some good 'ol fashion horsin' around?
