Epcot is the second theme park built at Disney World, completed in 1982, and features a heavy emphasis on technological innovation and cultures from around the world. The park is split into two main areas: Future World and World Showcase. Along with the wide variety of rides, shows, dining and shopping options offered throughout Epcot, guests are also treated to IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth: a nightly fireworks display that uses pyrotechnics and an LED screen for a one of a kind experience. Future WorldThis area of Epcot takes a look at ground-breaking technology as well as the technology of the future. Covered in a very sleek style, guests will find rides based on space exploration and technology, as well as a variety of interactive and show opportunities. Those looking for the fun of tomorrow need look no further than Future World. Attractions Spaceship Earth Spaceship Earth tells of the progress of human communication through audio and animatronics. Guests will gently ride to the top of the famous Epcot globe as they enjoy this blend of ride and show. Ellen's Energy Adventure Ellen DeGeneres stars in her own show as you experience what it's like to be in one of Ellen's dreams and explore the time of the dinosaurs. Mission: SPACE Broken into two rides, Mission: SPACE features a rather intense Orange Team mode and a more mild Green Team mode. Both rides feature the same journey to Mars, except for that the Orange Team mode includes extreme spinning. If you're even slightly prone to motion sickness it would definitely be best to stick to the Green Team.
Advanced Training Lab Tied into Mission: SPACE, the Advanced Training Lab is an interactive area focusing on space exploration. Park guests can take part in team competitions as well as play various video games related to space. Test Track Take the role of a test dummy as you experience the tests that today's automobiles go through before they are cleared for manufacturing. Amongst other things, you'll take turns at increasingly high speeds, experience brake tests and even be exposed to extreme hot and cold.
Innoventions Experience the technology of tomorrow today! Innoventions features a variety of hands-on experiences that include virtual reality video games, scientific exhibits and various simulators. The Living Seas This man-made ocean environment features a wide variety of marine life, many featured in Disney movies. Dolphins, marlins, sharks and many other sea animals are waiting to have an up-close experience with you at The Living Seas. Turtle Talk With Crush This amazing interactive show features a digital underwater landscape that appears as if you're actually watching a show taking place in an aquarium. Crush the turtle, from Finding Nemo, hosts the experience as he actually interacts with the audience! Soarin' Soarin' gives park guests the freedom to glide over the vast and beautiful landscape of California. You'll feel as if you're actually there as you visit Yosemite, redwood forests, Golden Gate Bridge and many other famous landmarks.
Living with the Land You'll journey by boat through various horticulture environments as you learn of plant species from around the world. Rain forests, deserts and plains are just a few of the areas you'll experience aboard this informative ride.
The Circle of Life Lion King characters help guests understand the importance of animal and plant diversity throughout our world through animation and live action. Packed with the trademark humor of The Lion King, this show is both informative and fun. Journey Into Imagination With Figment A purple dragon named Figment guides guests along this ride as the five senses are explored. Along the way you'll encounter optical illusions, the power of scent and definitely experience a healthy dose of imagination. Honey, I Shrunk the Audience Experience a 3-D adventure into the mishaps of Wayne Szalinski as you attend his 'Inventor of the Year' ceremony and wind up getting shrunk by his newest invention. Thrills, laughs and 3-D imagery combine for a truly unique time at this show. ImageWorks Explore the depths of your imagination through a variety of interactive exhibits. The Garden Grill
World ShowcaseAs Future World is a look into how the human race is progressing, World Showcase is a collective look at the various cultures that have influenced us with their rich culture and heritage. A total of eleven countries are featured throughout World Showcase, each offering its unique architecture, cuisine and history to Epcot. World Showcase Attractions Mexico This calm boat ride will take you through Mexico's past and present with the help of audio-animamatronics. From volcanoes of the natural land to current-day merchant areas, you'll experience a vast look at Mexico throughout this journey. Norway This Viking boat ride features the long lineage of Nordic culture, from the early Viking days and tales of trolls to today's industrial society. After your journey along the North Sea, there is a five minute film presentation on Nordic culture to further expand the experience.
China This unique movie journey surrounds you with a full 360 degree screen. You'll see numerous popular sights of China as you are completely surrounded by the experience. Looking forward, backwards, left and right will feature amazing views from every angle of the many national treasures seen throughout this film. The American Adventure Live action and theatrical presentation combine to tell the early history of America; complete with its revolutionary ways and heroic individuals. This thirty minute presentation is a great way to gain a renewed understanding of America's roots. France Traveling through the France countryside is the theme of this panoramic film that showcases the beauty and diversity of France. Cannes, Seine, Normandy and a variety of natural areas will all be explored throughout this stunning twenty minute presentation. Canada O Canada! is one of two Circle-Vision 360 films featured in Epcot, the other being Reflections of China. You'll be placed directly in the middle of the prominent towns of Canada, as well as its many natural areas, through the amazing technology of Circle Vision. Turning left or right produces different stunning views throughout this presentation that will have you feeling as if you've actually visited the Great North. World Showcase Dining Mexico
Cantina de San Angel Tacos, churros, margaritas and beer This character dining offers the chance to dine with various princesses from the Disney universe inside a Norwegian castle.

We knew the park would be busy, but they let way too many people in, we couldnt even walk and spent 10 hours there and only rode about 5 things
