Guided Boggy Creek Airboat Ride Overview

The one-hour guided tour combines leisure in a unique and spectacular natural environment with a spine-tingling, fast paced adventure through the 'Glades. Your tour begins with a cruise down a natural canal, giving you a close-up view of towering Cypress trees, natural wetlands and wildlife, including the opportunity to see soaring eagles, osprey, snakes, turtles and Florida alligators!

Hold on tight, though, because as your ride progresses, the excitement of whisking across the surface of the water increases as you reach speeds up to 45 MPH while shooting between walls of tall grass.  It's a feeling like no other, and one you won't soon forget!

Narrating the tour is your friendly and knowledgeable Captain, who is an expert on the area and its wildlife.  All captains (and first mates) are experienced in air boating, and many captains are even retired Naval officers!

Boggy Creek Airboat Ride Safety

All airboats are those deemed the safest airboats built in the state of Florida.  Each boat includes the most modern technology, and is inspected daily for safety by the mechanic who is A&P - certified by the Federal Aviation Authority.  In addition, Coast Guard inspections are done for all vessels on a regular basis.

Preparing for Your Boggy Creek Airboat Ride

To ensure that every aspect of your trip is enjoyable experience, we suggest that you bring the following:

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses...because this is Florida after all!
  • Still-photo or video cameras...to ensure you get those fantastic pictures of memories that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
  • Sweater or lightweight jacket...since the temperatures can fall below 70 degrees as you're whipping across the water. (And on a hot Florida day, that will feel so good!)

Tours operate 365 days a year, and depart every half-hour during operating hours.
