Florida is well-known for its thick American alligator population, so when planning a vacation to visit Orlando, it was an obvious choice to visit the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland! These massive beasts, along with leaping crocodiles, a flock of flamingos, and slinking snakes, were all so excited for you to stop by. You got to watch the alligators munch on their meal while you snacked yourself! This was a much safer way to check out Florida wildlife than wandering aimlessly around in the Everglades. Gatorland was a full day that satisfied you and your guests and a great add-on to your Orlando vacation.
FULL DESCRIPTION
We went to Gatorland last August during our Family Vacation and it was still the greatest. I had spent a lot of time in Florida as a child and visited Gatorland several times each summer. It felt good when my children had their pictures taken in front of the entrance and I placed them next to the picture I had of myself in the same spot 30 years ago. Gatorland is timeless and it always offers something new each time you go, we will be visiting again this August and can't wait to take another generation of pictures when we go this time.
