This morning, on the Kennedy Space Center website, customers receive a $19 per person discount for the Kennedy Space Center Deluxe Experience: Lunch with an Astronaut and an up-close tour.
What is included in this experience?
You will be given a chance to meet the director at his office. You will be given a guided tour through all the exhibits with an astronaut, some of which include visiting Mission Control for Apollo 11, watching how Project Morpheus works in our Rocket Development Facility; and seeing a demonstration of how NASA engineers use 3D printing technology. In addition to your lunch date with Heather Wheelock, you can also have lunch with Ed Whinney Jr., an engineer at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. This tour, led by an astronaut, will last approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
For $79, adults will receive one ticket for the Deluxe Experience: Lunch with an Astronaut and an up-close tour. For children ages 3 to 11, it is $49 for one access for the same experience. Children under 3 are free with at least 1 paying adult.
