Attire - Dinner Cruises are business casual, and all other cruises are relaxed casual.
Seating - Seating is cruise style, and tables accommodate 4-8 people. Guests are sometimes seated with other parties.
Things to See:
Nauticus - This Maritime-themed science center was opened to the public in 1994 and features interactive theaters, aquariums, hands-on exhibits and many educational programs. The second floor houses the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, and the third floor houses a shark lab, horseshoe crab touch tank, aquariums, a weather station and Science on a Sphere.
Monitor/Merrimack Battle Site - Also known as the Battle of the Ironclads, the Battle of Hampton Roads was the most noted and most important naval battles of the American Civil War from the viewpoint of the navies. It was fought over two days in 1862 with no clear victor. It was the first meeting in combat of ironclad warships USS Monitor and CSS Virginia.
Norfolk Southern Coal Terminals - The Norfolk Southern-Pier 6 is the largest and fastest coal exporting facility in the Northern Hemisphere, and is a branch of Lambert's Point. The facility can accommodate approximately 6,200 loaded rail-cars and is capable of dumping 1,200 cars daily.
Old Fort Norfolk - Fort Norfolk is the last remaining of 19 harbor-front forts set in motion in 1794 by George Washington. It covers 4 acres and overlooks the Elizabeth River, and houses ramparts, a dungeon, officers' quarters, barracks, and a guardhouse along with other features. The fort helped in the War of 1812 by protecting the city of Norfolk.
