The trail is a fantastic asset to this park any time of the year. It's used not only for hiking, but for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.
Wilson-Tuscarora State Park is open year round, and hunting for small game and waterfowl is permitted when in season. It is closed for big game season. Household pets are allowed, but they must be either caged or on a leash no longer than six feet. There is no charge for admission.
