The Dufferin Islands is 10 splendid acres of magnificent natural beauty located just above the falls.

There is also a "Catch and Release" fishing program in the area, that is very popular with the public. Please be advised that for this program, anyone over the age of 18 will need a permit. The Dufferin Islands is also a popular place around the holidays, as they place several lighted displays around the island for the "Winter Festival of Lights."
