Niagara Arts & Cultural Center in Niagara, NY
The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center or NACC founded in 1924, is home to over 100 different artists and art groups, features an array of travelling exhibits and showcases art films monthly. The gallery at the NACC is made up of 3,600 square feet of handicapped accessible, uninterrupted, brightly lit space. Each year the gallery hosts the Lewiston-Porter School District Exhibition, which draws a number of visitors to Niagara County. The building was rescued by a grassroots community coalition in 2000 and is not home to more than 75 individual artists' works and art groups and is on both the Federal and NY State Registries of Historic Buildings.
