This battle ground museum sits on the only remaining untouched lands of Lundy's Lane Battlefield. Visitors of this museum will be offered a guided tour, by staff members in costume, of period decorated rooms, and see life as it really was in the mid 1800's. Learn about how Niagara's tourist industry got its start, and see why there is still such an interest in battle fields from the War of 1812. Museum-goers will also get the chance to visit a historic cemetery. Drummond Hill Cemetery is located directly across the street from the Battle Ground Hotel Museum, and offers a monument to the brave men that fell during such fierce fighting.
The Battle Ground Hotel Museum is open daily from May 1st to October 31st. During the winter months, the museum is open by appointment only.
