Every season has a its own show at this spectacular greenhouse.
For the winter season, the colors of Christmas and the festive air of the holidays will blend into a beautiful presentation of red, white, and pink poinsettias and many other varieties of plants. Christmas Cactus, Azaleas, Cyclamen, and Paperwhite Narcissus will be artistically grouped for this festival of flowers. And throughout your journey into nature, over 70 tropical birds will fly overhead and if they are lucky, grace the guest with a song.
The best part of this attraction is that it is free and open every day, usually from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The greenhouse can be found a half a mile south of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls on the Niagara River Parkway. The attraction has been open since 1946 and in the last twenty years 11,000 square feet of reception center and display house have been added. Come enjoy the seasonal Festival of Colour at the Niagara Parks Greenhouse.
