Celebrate in Port Colborne, just 32 miles south of Niagara Falls, during their Marine Heritage Festival.
However, there's more than just boats to this festival. There will be carnival rides and games, a hot rod car show, a kite festival, a birds of prey exhibit, a fireworks display, the garden swing dance, a children's play area, and much more. Take the kids on the Dragon Wagon roller coaster, or the Moonwalk air bounce, there's something for everyone.
This festival is more than just rides and displays, there are also vendors set up with great food and shopping. Have your choice from ice cream, ice cold lemonade, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, fish 'n chips, and much more. Also, many local shops will have stands set up and will be celebrating along with everyone else by having sales and other specials. Live music is another large part of this festival, with a high energy country performance and a Jimmy Buffet style band Friday evening, and then an ultimate Eagles tribute band will follow. There will also be shuttles available to transport visitors from parking directly to the festival, for a hassle free evening of family fun.
