Your entire family can hook a great time at the Annual Catfish Derby for Kids hosted by St. Catharine's General Hospital near Niagara Falls, Ontario. Each year, more than 3,000 children throw their lines into the waters around St. Catharine's in hopes of landing the biggest fish in one of the categories, which include catfish, carp, suckers, rock bass, perch, sunfish, and more! Every child is a winner, though, so everyone who brings a fish to the weigh-in ceremony will receive a prize packet!
The outdoor adventure is open to children aged 2 to 14, and live entertainment, games, exhibits, and activities bring a festival atmosphere to the derby.
