Long gone...
I grew up in Lockport, NY. I remember the time when it was the most happening place in Lockport, when all us kids and our friends used to get dropped off there by our parents and hang out there for hours. But baby, those days are as dead as disco. I don't live in NY anymore, but my Dad and some friends still do. This mall was practically dead and empty and going under several years ago. Now I hear there's nothing left in it. Aren't they tearing it down to build some other major business?

Oh, sooooo wrong!
I've lived in Lockport for 3 years now, around the corner from the 'Lockport Mall'. Unfortunately, there is only one shopping opportunity there--the only store still open is The Bon Ton--everything else is gone. You can't even get into the mall. So, do come to Lockport for it's history, the Erie Canal Cruises and the Caves, but don't come for the shopping.
