Hotels Near Goat Island in Niagara Falls, CanadaIf you are planning a trip to Niagara Falls don't miss out on seeing the Falls from a vantage point that can't be beat. The opportunities for fantastic pictures of the Falls are all over Goat Island. Goat Island, the oldest state park in the United States, was formed with sediment left from a lake called Lake Tonawanda that vanished. This formation split the river in two and created channels. On the eastern side of the island, the American Falls formed and you will see the Horseshoe Falls on the western side. You can also see a third fall at the northwest point of Goat Island that has been called many names over the years and is now known as Bridal Veil Falls. You can stroll all over the island or take the shuttle. While you are there take an adventure through the Cave Of The Winds which takes you to the base of the American Falls; raincoats are provided. Goat Island is open year-round.

Quality Inn - Niagara Falls, United States
This Hotel Was Not To Bad, It Was Clean And The Staff Was Very Nice, The Pool Area Was Clean, It Is Nicely Located To Siteseeing Attractions. The Only Bad Thing About The Hotel Was That The Beds Are Not The Most Comfortable But I Would Book Another Room At This Hotel...All In All We Had A Good Time On Our Vacation.

Good location. Right across from Niagara Falls State Park. Walking distance to everything including Cananda. Parking limited but they do reimburse if you have to use a parking garage close by.

If I had to do it again, I would definitely stay on the Canadian side. VME did offer many hotels in Canada but I wasn't sure how I would get to them. The Quality Inn was nothing to write home about.
