A boat launch ramp is provided at the park, making it easy to enjoy a boating experience on Lake Ontario. In winter months, the park is popular for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. While you are here, don't miss out on your chance to take a tour of the historical Thirty Mile Lighthouse, which was decommissioned by the US Coast Guard in 1958.
The Four Mile Creek State Park sits about 11 miles north of Niagara Falls in Youngstown, New York. This popular park is home to over 250 large campsites, both with and without electricity hook-ups. Camping is available from mid-April through mid-October. The park sits on the beautiful Lake Ontario and offers breathtaking views as well as plenty of recreational opportunities on-site. Spend time enjoying nature with an invigorating hike on the many winding trails, as they take you through dense forests and along bluffs. At the mouth of the Four Mile Creek, you will find a popular fishing spot where great blue herons, white trillium and others are often found. The park also boasts a convenience store, a laundry facility, and a playground on-site.
