These flights are by way of commercial, military as well as general aviation flights, with an average of 110 flights per day. Some of the major airlines that travel to and from the airport include Comair/Delta, Northwest Airlines, Airtran, Continental, United, and US Airways. Along with airline services, the airport also offers on-site car rentals for added convenience. The agencies on site include Enterprise, Avis, Budget, Alamo and National Rent a Car. The airport also has several shops and restaurants to offer its travelers while they wait. There is The Coffee Beanery, Monarch Newsstand and gift shop, The Anchor Bar, Uno's Pizza, Matties Texas Red Hots and The Lake Erie Grille to name a few. There are many nearby hotels and lodging options as well. Some of the hotels offer shuttle service to and from the airport for your added convenience. A few of these are Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, Quality Inn, Holiday Inn Buffalo-Amherst and Best Western Summit Inn. |

This Hotel Was Not To Bad, It Was Clean And The Staff Was Very Nice, The Pool Area Was Clean, It Is Nicely Located To Siteseeing Attractions. The Only Bad Thing About The Hotel Was That The Beds Are Not The Most Comfortable But I Would Book Another Room At This Hotel...All In All We Had A Good Time On Our Vacation.

If I had to do it again, I would definitely stay on the Canadian side. VME did offer many hotels in Canada but I wasn't sure how I would get to them. The Quality Inn was nothing to write home about.
