The Mott Haven Historic District in New York is a neighborhood of the Bronx that is bounded by East 149th Street, Saint Mary's Park, the
Harlem River and the East River. Named after Jordon Mott, who built an iron works in the area, it features different museums, historic sites, and includes some of the oldest 19th century row houses in the Bronx. Although a bit rough around the edges, the district is know to house great antique stores and cafes, and features iron benches, cobblestone paving, curbside planters and old-style street lights.
