Hamilton Grange in New York City, NY

Hamilton Grange is a beautiful part of New York City, located in upper Manhattan, that provides an interesting sightseeing experience. The 32-acre estate was owned by Alexander Hamilton, and served as his home from 1802 to 1804. The estate was named after Hamilton's grandfather's estate in Scotland, and offers guided tours through its interior.

Alexander Hamilton will forever have a place in American history. From rising to an aide to General Washington during the American Revolution to his famous duel with Aaron Burr, Alexander Hamilton certainly had an interesting role in the beginning of America. Unfortunately, Alexander Hamilton only called Hamilton Grange home for two short years, before he was fatally wounded in a duel against Aaron Burr.
