The Forbes Magazine Galleries is located on the ground floor of the Forbes building. The galleries feature such treasures as a collection of twelve Imperial Easter Eggs. These Easter Eggs were created by the House of Faberge, and are jewel encrusted, beautifully enameled, and truly exquisite. There are also cigarette holders, picture frames, and other accessories by the same company. Some of the other rooms in the Forbes Magazine Galleries are devoted to the more than 500 toy boats, early edition Monopoly sets, 12,000 toy soldiers from different eras, and more.
Don't forget to see the room that is filled with other memorabilia that's focused on U.S. Presidents. There are rare photographs, letters, and other interesting documents. Past exhibits have even showcased artifacts from President Lincoln's assassination, including the opera glasses he was holding when he was shot, his autopsy report, and more. The Forbes Magazine Galleries are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
