		The Hotel Carter Times Square Area With its great location in Times Square and affordable economy rates, the Hotel Carter is a popular lodging choice among those watching their budgets closely when travelling to New York City. Customer Rating: 5 of 10 Rating: 5 The desk clerk at the hotel was very rude. The hotel was nowhere near the best I have ever been in, it was possibly the worst. The rooms are very small and maid service did not come in during our entire stay. The parking adjacent to the hotel was also very expensive. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Customer Rating: 7 of 10 Rating: 7 The hotel was dark, the rooms were extremely small with no storgae space for your clothes. It is a converted YMCA and the halls are narrow and dark. The clientele is very young and the we felt out of place being old enough to be their grand parents. Their food is excellent and so was the service. Very accomodating in every way. It was difficult to keep a web connection due to the age of the building. By the way, the hotel does not have its name on the door. It is the first unlisted hotel I every satyed at.
