The Hudson Hotel is located on the west side of midtown Manhattan, across from Columbus Circle and Central Park West and is within walking distance to Broadway, Times Square, and the many attractions in midtown. Two entire floors are dedicated to business and private entertaining. Here you will find a wide variety of stylish and sophisticated rooms that can accommodate up to 500 people. A 24-hour business center is also on site. Comfort food with a modern twist is featured at the Hudson Cafeteria. On of the hottest nighspots in the city is the Hudson Bar which showcases a lit glass floor. The Hudson Hotel also has a library which is reminiscent of an old English club or drawling room. The hotel was dark, the rooms were extremely small with no storgae space for your clothes. It is a converted YMCA and the halls are narrow and dark. The clientele is very young and the we felt out of place being old enough to be their grand parents. Their food is excellent and so was the service. Very accomodating in every way. It was difficult to keep a web connection due to the age of the building. By the way, the hotel does not have its name on the door. It is the first unlisted hotel I every satyed at. For the price, it was not a value. I would not stay there again.
