New York Renaissance Fair at Sterling Forest in Tuxedo, NYThe New York Renaissance Faire is an all out event pushing renaissance faire's to a whole new level. Dozens of stages filled with hundreds of performances will captivate audiences as over 100 craftsmen sell the finest in renaissance wares to the festival's population. Housed on 65 acres, the New York Renaissance Faire will offer more than enough to escape to a land of fantasy for a few days this August and September in New York.
The New York Renaissance Faire will be open on Saturdays, Sundays and on Labor Day throughout the duration of the festival. If you happen to find yourself in the New York City area during the late summer/early fall the New York Renaissance Faire is sure to provide an interesting way to take a break from the big city hustle of NYC and find a land of fantasy for a few hours. Family
I have been going to faire multiple times every year since I was very young. I belong to a family there and dress for the event (inciddently just because we have costumes dosent mean we work there.

It takes me roughly an hour and a half to get to the faire, however, once I'm there its like being in another wolrd. We, the patrons are entertained and enjoy the whole day watching so many acts and enjoying the staff's company while taking in the sights. it is absolutely one of those rare occasions where you can break out of the everyday shell and live life as you want to.
