Get your mouthwatering barbecue at the Annual Big Apple BBQ at Madison Square Park.
Admission is free to the block party, which includes the live entertainment and some seminars. Twelve of the nations top pitmasters will be grilling up some good food like brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and sausages. There will be live jazz music, as well as blues, rock, folk, and more. The food is reasonably priced, and there is plenty of fashionable merchandise for sale along with original barbecue sauces, dry rubs, and more, and all the proceeds go to the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
Guests can attend many different seminars, hosted by some of the world's most renowned pitmasters, and for some, there will be book signings held afterwards. The event kicks off Saturday at 12 p.m. with the first band, Straightdrive. Many other will follow for the rest of the day, and again on Sunday. There's a lot to see, do, and eat, so get there early.
