ACCOMODATIONS

The Gershwin Hotel. The Gershwin isn't just a hotel, it's an experience. While there, stop by the Living Room, where you will find live entertainment or read your email at one of the handy kiosks that are available. Each floor displays original artwork for guest enjoyment. Amenities include hardwood floors, premium TV channels and Internet access.

Wellington Hotel. This hotel is located right in the heart of the city and is just a block away from Broadway shows, a quick cab ride to the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Empire State Building. Tastefully appointed rooms feature cable television, data ports and there are Internet kiosks in the lobby.

DINING

Spirit Cruises. Enjoy a Lunch or Dinner Cruise with a Spirit City Cruise or the Classic Spirit Cruise. You can enjoy Broadway-style entertainment while eating your meal. After dinner, relax to the awe-inspiring view of the New York Skyline. The Spirit City Cruise offers a menu featuring New American Cuisine and the food is brought directly to your table. The Classic Spirit Cruise offers a generous buffet with coffee and desert served at tableside.

Planet Hollywood. It's not just a restaurant, it's an attraction. While the food is excellent, it's not all they offer. Walk through the restaurant and see movie memorabilia, and maybe even some real-life stars. When you're done eating, check out the Planet Hollywood store.

TOURS

Harlem Motorcoach Tour. This guided tour takes you to one of Harlem's church services featuring Harlem's famous gospel music. Learn about the diverse area from people familiar with the facts and history.

All Loops Double Decker Tour. This hop-on, hop-off tour will take you to the best sights in Manhattan. The tour makes over 35 stops including Central Park, Lincoln Center, the Uptown Loop, American Museum of Natural History, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Guggenheim, Harlem, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square, Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Financial District, Battery Park, South Street Seaport and more.

Land and Air Tour. This tour combines all of the fun and features of the All Loops tour, but adds the excitement of a 10-minute helicopter ride.

Manhattan Comprehensive Motorcoach Tour. This guided tour will show you all of Manhattan, from Upper to Lower. The tour will take you to Times Square, Madison Square Garden, SoHo, Little Italy and Battery Park as well as many other popular New York attractions. Tour includes a buffet lunch.

ROMANTIC SPOTS

Empire State Building/Observatory. Built in 1931, the Empire State Building used to be the tallest building in the world. The observatory is located on 86th floor, 1050 feet in the air. The observatory offers a 360-degree view of the city and on a clear day you can see up to 80 miles away. In addition to office space, the building features restaurants and stores as well as the New York Skyride, a simulation ride that highlights New York hotspots and is part rollercoaster, part helicopter.

Central Park. This 843-acre park is one of New York's most famous vacation stops for tourists. The park is broken down into four sections; North End, The Reservoir, Great Lawn, and South End. Among the features of the North End of the Park you will find highlights like Duke Ellington Circle, Untermyer Fountain, Burnett Memorial Fountain, a variety of playgrounds and the pool. The Reservoir offers the tennis center, the reservoir, a bridle path and three playgrounds. Great Lawn features Seneca Village, Shakespeare Garden, theatres, Belvedere Castle, Loeb Boathouse, and a variety of playgrounds. The park also features a Zoo with a petting zoo and wildlife area.

Rockefeller Center. Rockefeller Center is the creation of John D. Rockefeller and the home to over 100 pieces of art. NBC, Christie's Auction House and Radio City Music Hall all call Rockefeller Center their home. It also houses the most famous skating rink in the world. The center features the beautiful Channel Gardens, the statues of Atlas and Prometheus and the prestigious Rainbow Room.

Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is home to over two million pieces of art. The museum was formed in 1870 and displays American decorative arts, American paintings and sculptures, ancient Near-Eastern art, Asian art, African art, and artwork from all over the world.

Guggenheim. Guggenheim Museum was established in 1939, and was at that time known as the Museum of Non-Objective Painting. What used to be an automobile showroom is now The Guggenheim Museum, which houses work from over 169 different artists.

Museum Mile. Museum Mile is the stretch of museums and art institutions along Fifth Avenue. The museums found along the strip include:

Times Square. Times Square is formed by Broadway crossing over 7th Ave between 47th and 42nd Streets. The area used to be used for horse-trading and now houses the city's theatre district. It is also home of the Times Tower, where each year on New Years Eve, a lighted ball drops down a pole to count down to the New Year. The sight of times square can be overwhelming to visitors, with it's bright lights, flashing digital screens, gigantic billboards and stock tickers.

Greenwich Village. Greenwich Village is perfect for shopping or visiting a small cafe. The village is home to Washington Square, where you can find street musicians, jugglers, stand-up comics and other entertainers to thrill you with their skills.

All Loops Double Decker Tour 48 Hour Pass
Double Decker Tour
This was our first visit to New York and decided to take the double decker tour. It was fantastic! The tour guides provided so much information and humor as we drove around the city. I will recommend this tour as the way to see the city to all of my friends and family. Thank you New York for such a wonderful time. We will be visiting again soon.
