The Official New York City Heritage Tour offers a hop-on / hop-off sightseeing experience aboard a trolley as you are led by historic costumed guide to twelve unique stops throughout New York City including Times Square, City Hall, and Broadway for a full day of exploring New York City as it was in the 17th century. Along the tour topics including the founding of the city by the Dutch, the American Revolution, and the Declaration of Independence will all be touched upon, relaying how these events affected New York City, and vice versa.

Of course, along the way you're sure to see some of the more modern sites of the city as well, including the Empire State Building for an expansive and informative journey through The Big Apple.

Details:

• Tour departs daily from Gray Line Visitors Center at 777 8th Avenue (between 47th & 48th Streets) in Times Square, within proximity of the 50 Street subway station on Eighth Avenue.
• See schedule for exact dates and times.
• Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes with no stops, though you are allowed to get off at each stop and tour at your own leisure, with double decker buses arriving approximately every 20 minutes.
• Tour is appropriate for all ages.
• Casual dress is recommended.
• Cameras and video cameras are allowed and encouraged.
• The tour is handicap accessible; though prior arrangements must be made.
