The Sunset Eco-Tours of the Harbor Heron Islands is a great way to experience both the big city and natural sights of New York City as you take part in a 90-minute cruise, guided by an Audubon naturalist, and experience the unique heron culture routinely migrates to New York City. Each year, thousands of herons migrate to the numerous tiny islands scattered throughout the harbor, offering an impressive view of nature and the city merging. Along the tour you'll be joined by an Audubon naturalist that will help point out the many fascinating facts associated with both the herons and their migratory pattern. Aside from the migratory herons, you'll also pass by many of the famous monuments including the Statue of Liberty as you travel northward towards the Bronx and Rikers Island.
