Billy Elliot, a critically acclaimed musical, is playing at the Imperial Theater, which is located at West 45th street between Broadway and Eight Avenue. The two hour forty-five minute comedic musical has won ten Tony Awards in 2009, including Best Musical.

This is the latest Broadway show that has captured the hearts of millions. Billy Elliot is a funny, heartwarming, and inspiring feel good musical about one boy who decided to follow his heart and make his dreams come true. A classic tale of triumph over adversity, this powerful musical is a story of a young boy who has discovered his talent for dance even when all the other boys around him are more interested in boxing.

Directed by Stephen Daldry and choreographed by Peter Darling, Billy Elliot is based on the critically acclaimed film written by Lee Hall. Elton John wrote the feature film's musical score.

Starring Haydn Gwynne, winner of the Outer Critics Circle award, and Gregory Jbara, Drama Desk Award Winner, as well as Carole Shelley, Trent Kowalik, David Alvarez, and Kiril Kulish, who alternates with Tommy Batchelor for the title role.
