The location is a horror stop and is open during the month of October on weekend evenings as well as the entire week of Halloween. It is open other times, based on availability and schedules. Visitors will find that the location is very busy. While it opens at 8pm and runs until midnight each of these days, it often fills quickly. Tickets can be purchased in advance. The location is run by over 300 people, all of which are volunteers in this well known attraction.
The House of Shock has been regularly rated highly around the country and is known internationally as one of the best haunted attractions in the country. It has also appeared in a number of medias including in magazines such as Maxim and Rolling Stone. It is considered a Horror Show with a variety of activities to enjoy. There is a multi media stage located within, on which you will find amazing performances in a wide range of live bands and music. After the show, the entire stage erupts into flames. Video, sound, lighting and plenty of horror exhibits and live interactions make this a truly terrifying experience.
Visitors planning to attend will need to meet age requirements as the location offers graphic and bloody displays. The House of Shock is open at specific times each year.
