The Arcade in Downtown Nashville, TN

244 5th Ave N Nashville, TN 37219
The Arcade is a closed shopping area located in the downtown area of Nashville and is one of the first of its kind in the city.

Formerly known as Overton Alley, the two-story building was modeled after malls that are built in Italy. There are identical facades at the entrances on Fourth and Fifth Avenues. The mall is absolutely filled with unusual stores, restaurants, and things to discover.

The Arcade was designed by David C. Buntin and built in 1902. This building is a historical landmark in Nashville and features more than a dozen art galleries inside the building. Other notable shops include The Peanut Shop and Tony's Shoe Service. The location also features numerous restaurants where you can get everything from Philly cheese steaks to New York style pizza.

While in Nashville, be sure to explore The Arcade the first Saturday of each month during the Nashville Art Crawl. After viewing works of art, do a little shopping at one of the stores or get a bite to eat from a specialty restaurant.
