The Tennessee Central Railway Museum is dedicated to preserving the railroad history of the state and features a wide range of historic artifacts.
This non profit organization currently owns many passenger cars, cabooses, boxcars, baggage cars, work cars, locomotives, as well as a passenger and business car.
Throughout the years, the museum has operated passenger excursions to a few destinations in middle Tennessee. The trips always include something unique such as train robberies, Civil War reenactments, onboard murder mysteries, fall foliage sightseeing and seasonal guests including Santa and the Easter Bunny.
