With 4,500 total undergraduate and graduate students, Belmont University is the largest private Christian university in Tennessee. Belmont University is located in the heart of Nashville, making it near downtown and adjacent to Music Row. This university offers undergraduate degrees in 70 different areas of study through six colleges and schools. Belmont also has nine areas of study for graduate work.
Along with rigorous academics, Belmont also hosts NCAA Division I athletics in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, track & field and volleyball. With the exception of baseball and volleyball, these sports have men's and women's teams. Belmont's team name is the Bruins.
