Antioch United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN is a church that has member numbers growing as well as total member involvement. It is truly a church of and for the community from its wonderful day care center to its food drives. Their motto is that they are a community focused on learning, loving and living and this is evident in how they live and what they do.
They are constantly looking for people that want to learn as much about God and God's love as they can as well as wanting to follow the teachings of Jesus and try to teach others. However, this is more than just a lesson in God and religion. The Antioch United Methodist Church has many functions and doing with their members to give them entertainment and fun.
They have a talent show coming up in the near future. This is a fun activity for all the members or townspeople. Anyone wishing to participate is welcome to check it out. They are always looking for new members. Some of their other events and activities are a shoebox for the Samaritan's Purse Christmas charity. Everyone was asked to donate what they could spare and the charity was a huge success.

Starting at 8:30, they have Prime, which is a small worship service that is traditional, contemporary, casual and formal all rolled into one. Mostly it's singing, praying and talking about God and his scriptures. Discipleship classes, which are similar to Sunday School give the children the opportunity to learn all they can about a relationship with Jesus Christ. Worship Services begin at 10:30 with a youth group gathering at 4:00 p.m. The Youth Group is a great opportunity for children from 7th through 12th grade to get together and have fun.
