Antioch United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN is a church that has member numbers growing as well as total member involvement. It is truly a church of and for the community from its wonderful day care center to its food drives. They are always looking for new members. Some of their other events and activities are a shoebox for the Samaritan's Purse Christmas charity. Starting at 8:30, they have Prime, which is a small worship service that is traditional, contemporary, casual and formal all rolled into one. Mostly it's singing, praying and talking about God and his scriptures. Discipleship classes, which are similar to Sunday School give the children the opportunity to learn all they can about a relationship with Jesus Christ. Worship Services begin at 10:30 with a youth group gathering at 4:00 p.m. The Youth Group is a great opportunity for children from 7th through 12th grade to get together and have fun.
