Tennessee is a state that went through many, many changes after the Civil War and now you can see the impact those changes had by attending The New South exhibit at the Tennessee State Museum located in Nashville, TN.

Many of these changes occurred between 1870 and the 1920's, that were the result of the Industrial Revolution that happened right after the Civil War. Some of the things on display that will show these changed include exhibits on prohibition, woman's suffrage, and the Tennessee Centennial Exposition that focuses on the state's reaction and involvement to the social issues that were going on at the time.
