Houston and Tennessee may have been two of the worst teams in the entire league last season, but on the plus side this game will give football fans the chance to witness two of the more impressive rookies for 2006. The Houston Texans shocked a number of people by drafting defensive end Mario Williams with the first pick in the draft. There were a number of extremely talented offensive players to choose, but in the end the Texans need better defense and Williams seems to be ready to contribute right now.
On the other end, the Titans used the third overall pick in the draft to select stand-out quarterback Vince Young. Despite early questions of Young before the start of his senior college season, he proved all the nay sayers wrong by leading Texas to defeating the powerful USC, and looks to be able to also come in an contribute on day one.
