Life's Pleasures at Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, TN

Interested in seeing some lovely pieces of art, then you need to visit the Life's Pleasures exhibit at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts located in Nashville, TN.

Featuring work from Ashcan painters who were a group of painters that worked in New York during the 20th Century, it is a masterful collage of work that will be sure to please. In their work, they portray scenes from of urban life from the lower socio-economic classes, however, in addition to that, they also had other themes as well, something that you will see in this exhibit that features more than 70 different paintings. Some are full of energy, others show the leisure activities of the time, and there are many, many others that fill the gaps in between.
