Frontier at Tennessee State Museum in Nashville, TN

Learn about the frontier days in Tennessee by attending the Frontier exhibit at the Tennessee State Museum located at 505 Deaderick St in Nashville Tennessee.

This is an exhibit that depicts what life was like during the time when the Spanish conquistadors first discovered this area. They were the first Europeans to lay eyes on the land that was then explored by both the French and the English who became the first white settlers of the area. Some of the different items on display that you will see when touring this exhibit include a frontier cabin, armor and weapons the Europeans used along with Daniel Boone's musket, a 200 year old dugout canoe, a grist mill, a Conestoga Wagon, handmade furniture, a printing press, and many other items that shed light on how things were during this era.
