Family Day at Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, TN

Bring the family to Nashville for a day of free art programs and special activities at The Frist Center for the Visual Arts Family Days.

Held periodically through the year, the Family Days programs are geared especially for families, with activities related to the exhibitions of the Center. Visitors enjoy live music, dance, theatrical performances and, of course, lots of art. Get creative with 30 hands-on activities with Martin ArtQuest, located in the upper level, or explore the 24,000 square feet of gallery.

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts, voted Best Museum in 2008 by Nashville Parent magazine, hosts some of the finest visual art from local to international artists. Parents are encouraged to bring their children, and the Center offers resources to help adults engage their children in exploring the gallery.

Children under the age of 18 are always welcome free of charge at the nonprofit art-exhibition center, and kids aged 5-13 can become free members of the center's Kids Club, with Kids Club card, free art classes and more.
