Stones River National Park in Murfreesboro, TN is a sight that every person in America should see and a great way to take in this park is by attending the 145th Anniversary Programs that the park puts on every year.

Every year on the anniversary of the Battle at Stones River, which began on December 31, 1861 and ended on January 1, 1862, there are many educational programs and events to attend where you can learn a great deal about not only the battle itself, but other Civil War happenings that will shed some light on the trails and tribulations of this time period. Most of the events focus on the Union and Confederate armies and the battles that they had with one another. However, there are other activities and events to that deal with the civilians who were effected by this war along with how the land was impacted and other on topic programs that are filled with educational value perfect for the whole family to learn about.
