The Country Music Hall of Fame is a 37 million dollar structure that spans an entire block of downtown Nashville.

The museum's public areas also include a 7,000 square foot conservatory and a 200 seat theater.   • While you're visiting the Museum, be sure to check out the awesome and acoustically impressive Ford Theater. This 200-seat theater features state-of-the-art sound quality and a digital film presentation about country music around the world.
  • A treasure-trove of audio clips, video clips, and one million carefully selected items are presented to you in stunning array. All are laid out to tell the story of country music, its stars, and its heritage. The story progresses chronologically as you wander through the Museum's displays and exhibits.
  • The Museum also features a separate area which contains several sights, sounds, and interactions that even the youngest visitor can enjoy. See professional "pickers" introduce the instruments typically used in country music recordings. View a dance floor imprinted with the steps of popular dances. You can even try it out yourself with or without the help of on-site instructors!

JUST GOT BACK FROM A WONDERFUL WEEK END IN NASHVILLE, TOOK IN THE FRIDAY NIGHT OPRY ALSO SATURDAY NIGHT OPRY, ON SATURDAY WE VISITED THE C M HALL WELL WORTH THE MONEY BEAUTIFUL BUILDING.I LEARNED THINGS I NEVER KNEW ABOUT SOME OF THE ENTERTAINERS. This was great - when we went they had special displays of Hank Williams and Hank Williams Jr. and that was our favorite.
