When you see the bright lights of the Wildhorse Saloon, you know you will have a good time!

Nashville's filled with exciting activities for every personality type!  Whether you'd like to leave the driving (and research) to someone else and take a guided tour, shop 'til you drop, or kick your heels up at the Wildhorse Saloon, you'll find all you can ask for in Nashville - and more!

Motorcoach Tours of Nashville

Motorcoach tours can be fun and informative ways of seeing a variety of sights. The Homes of the Stars Tour is a narrated excursion past Nashville landmarks and into the local neighborhoods where the city's brightest stars have made their homes. Take it to the next level with tours like the Grand Legends Tour that combine the coach tour with a ride on a Delta boat, a walking tour through the Grand Old Opry museum -- plus a second museum of your choice -- as well as other attractions. These tours allow you to get up close and inside where you can see, hear, smell, and touch the sights at a pace that's comfortable for you. And there are always knowledgeable people to answer your questions about anything on the tour.

Crank it up a notch with the Nashville Nights Tour, where you can experience firsthand the nightlife of Nashville. This tour includes visits to Ryman Auditorium (former home of the Grand Old Opry), the Wild Horse Saloon, the Hard Rock Cafe, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Legends Corner, and Honky Tonk Row. Honky Tonk Row, located on a short strip of Lower Broadway, has been the springboard for many Country Music artists of past, present, and future fame. And the previously mentioned Wildhorse Saloon is the home of Country Music line dancing. If you never learned to line dance, what better place is there to learn?

Tours will get you there, but once off the tour coach, rely on your own two feet and some inspired curiosity to explore Nashville's nightlife. Eat and drink in some of the city's favorite hotspots and dance to live Country and Bluegrass music. You might even discover the next Country Music star performing live!

Lodging Ideas for Nashville

If sports participation is your passion, don't underestimate the number of activities that may be available in your own backyard, or more specifically, at the hotel or motel you call home during your vacation. Most lodging will have outdoor pools. For year-round swimming, indoor pools are a must, so consider the Doubletree Guest Suites and Fairfield Inn by Marriott at Opryland.

Gaylord Opryland Hotel includes all of the above amenities as well as Springhouse Golf Club's par 72 course. This nine-acre resort also weighs in with not one but four pools. In addition to Springhouse, there are seven public golf courses located in five parks throughout the city. If your sport is tennis or basketball, check into Millennium Maxwell House to stay on your game during vacation. For cycling enthusiasts, check out the Hamilton Creek Mountain Bike Trails. For boaters, Hamilton Creek Park is also home to the Sailboat Marina.

Attractions in Nashville

With all the activities at your disposal, be sure to save some time to attend a performance at the Grand Ole Opry and to take a casual stroll through the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Both are must-see attractions. And for a relaxing and enjoyable evening, try the General Jackson Showboat for a complete night of dining and entertainment.

A well-rounded vacation keeps you energetic and interested. If you return home exhausted from your vacation, just remember that it's exhausted in a good way. Just think of all the fun you had!

Grand Ole Opry Ticket
this really was a nice family experience. It was so cool going to the Grand Ole Opry. The show was good and we all really like this.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Fantastic staff and lots to see. A definite highlight of my trip. I would recommend setting aside a whole day to get the full experience with the Studio B and audio tour.

-Matthew Alexa, Halifax, NS
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
We went there twice, not by choice but because we saw it as a separate attraction and then on the city tour. Actually, that was a pretty good idea, because we got to go back and see things we hadn't spent much time on the first time. You might want to point this out to people, though, who might not want to repeat the experience. We spent over 3 hours on the the museum alone tour. The city tour allowed you about an hour, not enough time to see the whole thing.
